Walking & Biking in Tramore
We can also offer you secure parking for your bicycle or motor bike.Tramore is famous for its restorative air and hundreds of walkers can be found ambling along the beach and promenade on any nice day.
For a more purposeful outing the sand hills at the end of the beach offer a spectacular view of the bay and the town and are almost 5 kilometres from the town centre. The back strand is especially good for bird watching.
Tramore also features the Doneraile Walk along the westside of Tramore Bay and from there you can follow the coast down past the pier and out to the Guillamene swimming cove and Newtown Woods before reaching the famous Metalman guarding the mouth of Tramore Bay.(maps available from reception).

Cycling in or around Tramore can be challenging as Tramore is a very hilly town, but once you are down town (where we are situated) you can cycle along the promenade & outside the town there are many picturesque routes that you can take on your bike.
